Climate neutral archive management
Since 1 January 2010 Saan Archive Management has been operating in a fully climate neutral manner. The CO2 emissions of our fleet have been reduced to a minimum thanks to our durable and environmentally friendly vehicles. Any unavoidable emissions that remain from cars and offices are compensated for by investing in a windmill park in Taiwan.
For this purpose we have created a CO2-footprint in collaboration with the
Climate Neutral Group. All projects of the Climate Neutral Group are verified by independent organisations, accredited by the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change).
First climate neutral archive company
Saan Archive Management is the first archive company in the Netherlands that is completely climate neutral. We also stimulate our employees to drive more safely and environmentally aware. An example is a road safety training focusing on fuel reduction.
Energy-efficient lights
In our Utrecht archive depot we started a project to equip all lights with motion sensors. This way we can considerably reduce energy costs and further reduce CO2 emissions at the same time. In our modern Almere building all lights have motion sensors already.
