Designation ‘Royal’ (Koninklijk)

Being granted the designation ‘Royal’ (Koninklijk) in 1997 was the crowning glory of Koninklijke Saan for over 100 years of reliable entrepreneurship. Since the establishment in 1897 the focus has been on Saan’s social involvement for a professional and sound management.

It is an honour to be granted the designation ‘Royal’ (Koninklijk). A company must meet a number of conditions in order to be eligible. It must exist for at least 100 years, be sound and have a national image. Moreover, it must have a prominent position within its own sector and show social involvement. Naturally, we are especially proud of this title.
