Commissioned by Oiltanking Amsterdam Saan Vertical Transport has replaced several loading arms. However, these loading arms could only be reached via water. By placing a crane on a pontoon Saan could reach the location while navigating through the Western Port Area.
In order to safely carry out the activities some measures were necessary. The turning moment had to be calculated and the ground bearing pressure had to be looked into as well.
